March 24 - 2009: Experience Singapore travel opportunity for senior undergraduate and Master's students in engineering

Experience@Singapore is an exclusive programme that includes visits to companies, economic agencies and key infrastructural projects. It provides students with insights to Singapore as an Engineering & Technology hub.

The 5-day programme will focus on the following themes:

  • Discovering Singapore - An Introduction
  • Energy - Asia's Leading Energy Hub: Playing a critical role in meeting the world's energy demands
  • Electronics/Semiconductor - World Class Node for Electronics: Pushing the frontiers of electronics
  • Biomedical Science - Biopolis of Asia: Where talent fuels science and business
  • Environment & Water - Global Hydrohub: Creating solutions to address the world's environment & water challenges


Who can participate in Experience@Singapore?

The programme is open to all penultimate, final year undergraduate and Master’s students based in universities in North America, United Kingdom and Australia.

Applicants should be keen to explore a career in Singapore, have or expect at least a second upper class honours (or equivalent) degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, and a good track record of extracurricular activities.
