Announcement

The UCLA Center for India and South Asia, and the UCLA Department of History announce the Sardar Patel Award for the best dissertation submitted at any American university on the subject of modern India in 2009. The amount of the award is $10,000. Submission materials must be postmarked no later than October 16, 2009.
