Asian Heritage Week 2008
The Asian Presidents Council (APC) is hosting its annual Asian Heritage Week which will begin on April 10, 2008. This special week-long celebration is APC’s major annual event to create an environment for Asian culture and knowledge education on campus, and to cultivate an appreciation towards Asian arts and tradition. The highlight this year is an Asian Film Festival which spans 2 weeks and features movies from China, India, Vietnam, as well as one that tells a story of Asians living in America.
DETAILED SCHEDULE April 10th
MSC Flagroom and Stark Galleries at 2:30 p.m. includes live cultural performances from ISA, VASA, CSSA, and PhilSA. A reception will also be held in the Stark Galleries following the speeches
The director of the film, Ham Tran, will be our guest speaker and will be in attendance April 16th

Reed Building at 5:30 p.m. This event is essentially designed to be a dodgeball tournament between approximately 14-16 teams in order to raise money for an Asian specific organization. We want all organizations under APC to take place in the tournament this year as our theme is unity. Underwriting of the event is generously provided by the Institute for Pacific Asia, Department of Multicultural Services and MSC Aggie Cinema.
