Foreign Corporation Guidelines

Texas A&M University has two foreign corporations that it uses to operate outside the US, one in Mexico and one in Costa Rica.  The management of these locations includes processes that function outside the typical Texas A&M University standard administrative procedures.  To assist those who work with these two corporations, these guidelines describe processes approved by the division of Finance (Asst. Comptroller, Contract and Administration, Academic Business Services, and Property Management), Human Resources, and the Provost’s IT Office.

At the recommendation of the Office of the Chief Operations Office for the University, instead of creating a Standard Administrative Procedure (SAP), Global Engagement was advised to publicize
these guidelines.
