Global Faculty Advocates


The Vice Provost has identified opportunities for faculty members to assist with various university level global strategic priorities.  Faculty members serve in the capacity of advocates to our signature partners in Italy, Mexico and Costa Rica.



Dean of International Programs and Initiatives

Dr. Leslie Feigenbaum with the College of Architecture, facilitates the college's academic programs and land engagement with Italart, S.A., which operates the Santa Chiara Study Center in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy, a Texas A&M University partner for over 30 years. 


Professor of Entomology

Dr. Julio Bernal from the
College of Agriculture & Life Sciences has responsibility for helping to develop programs with Centro de Estudios e Investigación Santa Clara, Sociedad Civil (S.C.) in Mexico. Hacienda Santa Clara is Texas A&M University's newest signature partner, located outside San Miguel de Allende.



Associate Professor Veterinary Pathobiology

Dr. Donald Brightsmith from the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, advocates program development between our signature partnership  between Casa Verde Research Center Sociedad Anonima and Texas A&M University's Soltis Center for Research & Education in San Isidro, Costa Rica, established in 2009.
